What is a Denture?

Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth, and which are supported by surrounding soft and hard tissues of the oral cavity. Conventional dentures are removable, however there are many different denture designs, some which rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants.

Types of Dentures

There are two main types of dentures: full and partial. Your dentist will help you choose the type of denture that's best for you based on whether some or all of your teeth are going to be replaced and the cost involved.

How Long Before I Get Used to My Dentures?

New dentures may feel awkward or uncomfortable for the first few weeks or even months. Eating and speaking with dentures might take a little practice. A bulky or loose feeling is not uncommon, while the muscles of your cheeks and tongue learn to hold your dentures in place. Excessive saliva flow, a feeling that the tongue does not have adequate room, and minor irritation or soreness are also not unusual. If you experience irritation, see your dentist.

This is the best dental group we've been to in the desert! The Doctor is great, very friendly and pleasant and the staff is so nice! The best part is, they don't try and sell you on things you don't need! Nothing bothers us more than a dentist who claims you need all these extras and then tries to sell you on them. They don't do that at Parc Center Dental Group! YAY!

I usually do not write reviews but I have to do one for this company they are simply the best, we all know is not that fun to visit the Dentist but this staff makes the experience so much easier, everyone here is very respectful, friendly and professional, I had Dr. Nadi and he was nothing but excellent, I highly recommend this Dental group if you are looking for excellence.

BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE EVER!! I'll admit, I was hesitant after reading Michelle's review, but because of my HMO insurance I only have a few to choose from. Not only was the Dentist (Dr. Nadi), but also the office staff and hygienist (Karen), professional, friendly, caring and helpful. The office and exam rooms were cheerful, very clean and inviting. First Dentist I have been to that didn't try to 'soft sell' you; only recommended what was absolutely necessary. I would recommend all who seek a Dentist, whether HMO or PPO to call and make an appointment. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you Parc Center Dental Group.

The dentist could easily convinced me to get a crown, but he explained that it was only a watch and see situation.

Donna C. on Yelp

The dental hygienist and dentist are both very friendly as well as very efficient. I get my teeth cleaned quickly but they do a thorough job and are not rushing to get me out the door and onto the next patient. They take the time to answer any questions as well as work to get me my desired appointment times.
